Thank you for your add.
And... my two cents on Kate, whose music I very deeply love:
it's still amazing, every time i listen to her songs, how complexity of message, subtlety of language (both musical and verbal), and overall THOUGHT manage to go together with emotion, immediate and whole. She is a wonder.

Kate
My 17-month old son adores listening to your music...he twirls around whenever you sing...and it warms my heart to see him respond to an amazing artist such as yourself. I'm so proud of him. He's well on his way to a life of great music appreciation! That thrills me to the core because if there is one thing I want to pass on to my children, it's my love of music.
Your fans,
Jen and her family

Hello Kate:
It is an honor to be accepted by an innovative artist of your stature. I am sure you would be first to agree with the notion that the artist, any style, any genre, must first be uncaged if he or she is to soar magnificently and creatively.
Deepest respect for the artistry that is your own! May you continue to shine on!

Many thanks for the Add.
Fell in love with Kate upon seeing her first appearance on TOTP as a 14 year old singing Wuthering Heights (I was 14, not Kate).
To keep producing such original and beautiful songs over almost 30 years is a talent indeed.

"The dreamer does not care what is or is not possible. For the dream is based in limitlessness. The dream is totally without structure.
The dream is found in the depths of the child who still dwells within... you must first find and liberate The Dreamer from the prison of your linear consciousness.
The dreamer does not dwell in the realm of doing but thrives in the innocence of simply being."

thank you Fairy
I was born at the mediterranean cost of France with your music, there were no TV, no money, no dad, no more piano, no more turntable but there were always your cassettes and always my mum singing and dancing on Baboushka, miming some other beats with her mouth.
maybe I've been watching her too long and understood that music can light in the darkness, since there, I've never stop thinking about music and singing the melody I feel
thank you to have given life to the small flat where we used to live, now I understand your words, you are amazing.
It is surely thanks to you that I sample noises in my music now, it is surely thanks to you that my mum and I had magic moments on sundays

HIV
I was starting to imagine, what if it happened to me?
To be tested positive for HIV?
No longer could I go out with the boys for a beer
And the homophobes would say good – it’s got another queer
But all that had happened was, I was tempted by the fruit of another
And for that myself, and my family, for the rest of our lives, must suffer
I would have to go home and explain to my wife
That not only had I been unfaithful, I’d also endangered her life
I was thinking of my children and how they would feel
When they found out the reasons why their father was so ill
And as my mind became locked in such thoughts of magnitude and power
I nervously reached for the towel and stepped out of the shower
But I was no longer thinking of my night of sex
But realised I was heading for a night of regret
So as a voice called out my name, baying me to bed
I quickly put my clothes back on and ran instead
My body, it was shaking, in fear and in guilt
I knew my life could be ending underneath that continental quilt
Well, as I got home and put the keys to the door
I was scared like a schoolboy, I knew I’d be straying no more
I took off my shoes and hung my coat in its place
And greeted my wife, praying to God she couldn’t see the guilt written on my face
Well, she handed me a drink, and I sat down as she began to explain
That for the past few weeks her conscience had been racked with misery and pain
That when she’d gone out with the girls back in September
She’d met an old flame and they’d slept together
And what she was now trying to explain to me
Was today she was tested positive for HIV

A free track for February is in my player now!
’Turn It All Around’ is a dance track that marks a midway point between the dubby instrumental music of the 'Actuality' album, and the songs that I'm writing for 'Modern Mantras'.
An entire song (originally written on the guitar) was recorded, twisted, mangled, distilled, remixed, simmered on a low heat, and eventually turned into something else.
Now, I try to capture the song for posterity before i worry at it and mangle it beyond all recognition.
'The Skylark's Egg' in the player is an example of this.
A melody that you might hear the milkman whistling on a sunny April morning is now my creative goal.
bye bye.
